Father’s
Day is a very special day to honor our fathers and we can honor them in many
ways. I have discovered three unique and
delicious items- a zesty gift basket, decadent fruit platter, and a refreshing cheesecake
that make perfect gifts to give to a wonderful father on their special day.
Gourmet
Gift Baskets offers a wide assortment of gifts for holidays, birthdays, anniversaries,
and other special occasions for any time of the year.
Today,
I am going to share with you some of my favorites from Gourmet Gift Baskets for
Father’s Day.
Dried Fruit Platter: I know that many people
would like to incorporate more fruit into their daily meals and this delicious dried
fruit platter makes it easy to do that and is a perfect gift for any dad who loves
to eat fruit or maybe would like to start to. All of the fruit is arrayed on a
beautiful woven plate, which after gazing at it, you most likely will want to
pick up and eat a piece of fruit right away, I know that I did. The delectable
fruit consists of dried Angelino Plums, Mediterranean Apricots, Yellow Peaches,
Mangos, Apple Rings, California Peaches, Kiwis, and Pitted Prunes. I like the Mangos
the best, because they are easy to chew, but the other fruits are delicious too.
The dried fruit does have some sugar added to it, but not that much. I personally
prefer to eat fruit that does not have any sugar added to it, but that is okay.
The dried fruit platter weighs 2 lbs and is priced at: $29.99
Italian Gift Basket
with Keepsake Colander: If your father loves Italian food like I do, then this
Italian Gift Basket has the perfect products as well as a beautiful, red pasta
strainer (colander) to make his dinner a special one to remember. The basket
comes with all the ingredients that make a delicious Italian dinner. All of the food is award winning, authentic,
and from Tuscany, Italy. Price: $79.99
Included
in the basket are the following items:
Basilico
Pasta Sauce by Cucina & Amore made with the freshest ingredients. 16.8 oz.
Basil
Pesto Alla Genovese by Cucina & Amore- A scrumptious and thick basil pesto
sauce that can be put on pasta, bread, salads, dips, or spreads. 7.9 oz.
Fiesta
Fioretti Pasta by Pasta Partners 12 oz.- A handmade artisan pasta that is perfectly
bite sized and can easily be picked up with a fork.
Red
Stainless Steel Colander- To strain your pasta the gift basket includes a sturdy
and durable strainer which makes straining any kind of pasta so simple and easy
to do. This colander works and looks great.
After
your dad has eaten his dinner, he can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with the included
Pistachio Biscotti by Cucina & Amore 6.3 oz. These Italian Biscotti Cookies
are made with yummy pistachios and soften when dunked in hot coffee or tea. A
perfect dessert to end a perfect meal.
Key Lime Cheesecake- 6
Inch: If
your dad likes dessert, in particular cheesecake, then the Key Lime Cheesecake
is a refreshing, delightful choice and is a wonderful way to finish the Italian
meal. Gourmet Gift Baskets also has a monthly cheesecake club that offers a
different flavor of cheesecake for each month of the year. I was able to try the
Key Lime Cheesecake which is absolutely delicious with a tartness that is great
for this time of the year. It is made with the finest ingredients with a touch
of key lime and a light green swirl design on the top of the cheesecake. It has
a rich taste and the lime flavor is not overpowering. If your dad likes cheesecake
and the tart, refreshing flavor of key lime, then the Gourmet Gift Baskets Key
Lime Cheesecake would make a great tasting gift for him this Father’s Day. It comes
pre-sliced and is priced at $29.99.
I
have just shared with you two of my favorite Gourmet Gift Baskets offerings for
Father’s Day, but there are many more delicious products to choose from and if
you are a father, I hope that you will have a very happy Father’s Day, because
you deserve it!
Enjoy!!!
